Town Meeting/Town Hall Slogans
Back in April we had Tea Party Slogans, now here are some town meeting slogans:
Obama Lies, Grandma Dies!
Your health plans make me sick!
If socialized medicine is best...why didn't Ted Kennedy go to Canada?
If Congress likes Obamacare so much, why don't they test drive it first?
[] Universal Healthcare [] Freedom. You can only pick one!
Stop! You're starting to scare George Orwell!
I am sick and tired of people who call you unpatriotic if you debate this administration's policies. We should stand up and say, we are Americans and we have a right to debate and disagree with any administration! - Hillary Clinon
You can't fix stupid, but you can vote it out!
It doesn't matter what the sign says, they'll say its racist anyway!
Anderson’s ‘Buy Black’ becomes a national racist movement!
Maggie and John Anderson of Chicago vowed four months ago that for one year, they would try to patronize only black-owned businesses. The "Empowerment Experiment" is the reason John had to suffer for hours with a stomach ache and Maggie no longer gets that brand-name lather when she washes her hair. ... Now, the Andersons are following up with 4,000 people who signed up for the experiment on their Web site to gauge their commitment and set up online accounts to track their spending. http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D984SLN80&show_article=1
Can you imagine the outrage if anyone started a "Buy White" movement? Instead, let's try a "buy human" experiment? Only buy from human owned businesses. Every other distinction is racist.
Tea Party Slogans
Some of the signs from the tea parties across the United States earlier today:
Spread my Work Ethic, not my wealth!
Change...giving freeloaders some of what YOU have worked hard for!
Help me Obama, They want me to work and stuff!
Cut taxes, not deals
What part of "limited powers" do you not understand?
It's my birthday, and all Obama got me was more debt!
It's my birthday, and all Obama got me was more taxes!
Why make a corrupt government even BIGGER?
Why should I pay for your bad decisions?
Party like its 1773
Obamanomics - Trickle up poverty
Term Limits for Congress!
A government that robs Peter to pay Paul can always depend on the support of Paul. George Bernard Shaw
No tax cuts for non-taxpayers!
Cut taxes, NOT more deal$
Freedom Works!
Obama targets Rush Limbaugh.
While obvious for some time, the Politico (Politico) today confirms that President Obama is targeting Rush Limbaugh.
What Obama fails to realize is that this means that Rush begins to set the agenda for the Democrats and in that case they are going to have a tough time of it. Rush has three hours per day on the air to respond so anyone willing to listen to him will hear the truth instead of the Obama and mainstream media's spin. While good for Rush, letting him set the agenda will be bad for the President.
It should also be noted that:
- Enemies lists are not acceptable. President Nixon would be proud.
- It is now acceptable for the President to target private citizens (well, it was before just ask "Joe the Plumber"). Imagine if it were you next and had no way to respond.
- It is acceptable for the President of the United States to take what a private citizen says out of context and publicize it. Amazing and scary.
Consumer Confidence dives in February, where is hope?
Where did Hope go?
Feb. 24, 2009 Bloomberg reports that confidence among U.S. consumers plunged to a record low in February.... The Conference Board’s index declined to 25 this month, the lowest level since data began in 1967, from a January reading of 37.4.
President Clinton Ignores First Amendment
Yesterday (Feb 13, 2009) radio host Mario Solis Marich asked former President Bill Clinton if it was time for "some type of enforced media accountability." Clinton replied:
"Well, you either ought to have the Fairness Doctrine or we ought to have more balance on the other side, because essentially there's always been a lot of big money to support the right wing talk shows and let face it, you know, Rush Limbaugh is fairly entertaining even when he is saying things that I think are ridiculous...."
For someone who attended law school and was President of the United States to blatantly ignore the First Amendment to the Constitution (not to mention the fact that the Constitution gives the Federal Government no power to regulate the press) is appalling.
When all power is concentrated in Washington and there is no one permitted to speak up for Freedom and Liberty, we can look back on comments such as these and see the steps we took to get there.
Obama says Constitution ‘relfected fundamental flaw of this country”
One keeps thinking that one has heard it all:
"I think we can say that, ah, ah, the Constitution reflected a enormous blind-spot in this culture that carries on until this day, and, and, ah, and that ah, the Framers had that same blind spot. Ah, ah, I don't think that the two views are contradictory to say that it is a remarkable political document, ah, that paved the way for where we are now. And to say it ah, also, ah rep, ah, reflected fundamental flaw of this country that continues to this day."
Obama creates ‘truth squad’
KMOV reports:"Last Tuesday without any fanfare, the Barack Obama campaign announced Jennifer Joyce and Bob McCulloch, the top prosecutors in St. Louis city and St. Louis County, were joining something called an Obama truth squad."
The governor of Missouri responded today, appropriately illustrating the outrageousness of these actions. In a free society, such tactics areabhorrentandreminiscentof the police state tactics of the USSR:
?¢‚Ǩ?ìSt. Louis County Circuit Attorney Bob McCulloch, St. Louis City Circuit Attorney Jennifer Joyce, Jefferson County Sheriff Glenn Boyer, and Obama and the leader of hisMissouricampaign Senator Claire McCaskill have attached the stench of police state tactics to the Obama-Biden campaign.
Obama on Palin’s Family
Kudos to Barack Obama:
"Our people were not involved in any way in this, and they will not be. And ifI thought there was somebody in my campaign who was involved in something like that, they would be fired."
Whether or not this is a political calculation or not, this is the right thing. If the candidate doesn't bring his or her family into the issue, the press should not do so.
